Draytek heeft voor zijn Vigor 2800-routers nieuwe firmware uitgebracht. De firmware is voorzien van versienummering 2.6.4.1 en kan vanaf deze server als zip-bestand gedownload worden die geschikt is voor de adsl-verbindingen in Nederland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Firmware 2.6.4.1 kent de volgende veranderingen:
[Improvements & Corrected Problems]ADSL
- Correct an issue that router cannot get a static WAN IP from Arrakis' (British Telcom) BBRAS via PPPoA protocol even they have choose a fixed IP to the PPPoA session of WAN port.
- Correct an issue when you enable the 'Restrict Web Feature' and check only the 'Executable' files. This prevents users on the LAN from downloading email attachments from Hotmail (including simple JPEG pictures).
- Add static routes for setting subnet for management when use VPN default route as the internet access backbone.
- Improve VoIP pass through for non-VoIP model.
- Improve X.509 for second Identity profile.
- Correct a reboot issue due to DPD log appeared while executing Telnet command "log -wt".
- Improve ISDN backup function.
- Improve FTP remote firmware upgrade.
- Correct a PPPoE compatiable issue with Huawei IP DSLAM.
- Improve DDNS for ChangeIP DDNS provider.
- Added two Telnet commands "wan ppp_mru" and "wan ppp_ipcp_vso" to adjust the size of PPP LCP MRU and enable/disable PPP IPCP VSO (Vendor Specific Option).
- Correct an issue that you can login to the Vigor via 2nd IP even though the "Allow management from the Internet" is disabled.
- Correct an issue that open port function fails when WAN connection drops and reconnects again.
- Improve firewall function to prevent attack of MSBlast.
- Change default setting of ADSL's modulation from Multimode to G.DMT on UK version.
Wireless
- Release new ADSL/2/2+ modem code E.67.2.12 for Annex A and E.74.2.1 for Annex B.
ISDN
- Improve WDS (Wireless Distribution System).
VPN, IPSec
- Support ISDN for Vigor2800i/2800Gi
Misc
- Support IPSec Multiple SA (Destination Oriented). Support multiple concurrent IPsec tunnels with a single IPsec peer. This single IPsec peer can have more than 1 network domain on LAN side and can negotiate different SAs for each network domain.
- Add SNTP daylight saving function.
- Improve the interoperability for the MPoA DHCP client.
- Correct a booting issue after upgrading v2.6.3.1 from former version.
- Support CFG ID to prevent restoring wrong configuration file.
