Stardock heeft een nieuwe versie van ObjectDock uitgebracht. Het programma is hierdoor aangekomen bij versienummer 1.3 en kan vanaf deze locatie als installatiebestand gedownload worden. ObjectDock wordt door zijn ontwikkelaars omschreven als de tegenhanger van 'the Dock', de brede balk onderaan het scherm in Mac OS X waarin snelkoppelingen naar onder meer programma's staan. Met behulp van ObjectDock is het niet alleen mogelijk om applicaties, games en tools te starten, maar het programma kent diverse animaties als iets gestart wordt en kan ook een ander uiterlijk worden meegegeven. ObjectDock 1.3 wordt geleverd met de volgende veranderingen:
ObjectDock 1.3 adds:[break]
- Ability to offset the docks from the edge of a screen
- Mouse activation (ObjectDock also supports hot spots). Mouse Activation allows docks to be totally hidden and then when the mouse hits the edge near where the dock is, the dock will pop on top.
- Docks can now reserve the edge of a screen so that windows cannot cover them.
- A ton of user-requested tweaks and changes to improve usability
