Mark Russinovich van Sysinternals heeft Process Explorer voorzien van een update naar versie 10.0. Met dit programma kan precies worden gezien van elk proces welke handles en bestanden het open heeft, en van welke dll's het gebruik maakt. Process Explorer is beschikbaar voor alle versies van Windows, inclusief de 64-bit-versies. Vernieuwingen in deze release zijn onder andere de toevoegingen van 'Runas' en 'Run as limited user', de mogelijkheid om processen te herstarten en dll-verificatie.
