Software-update: RightMark CPU Clock Utility 2.0

RightMark heeft onlangs een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van CPU Clock Utility. Het programma is daardoor aangekomen bij versienummer 2.0 en kan als exe- en rar-bestand gedownload worden. CPU Clock Utility is in staat om diverse gegevens van de in het systeem gebruikte processor(s) weer te geven. Ook is het mogelijk om een aantal statistieken in grafiekvorm te monitoren. In versie 2.0 zijn een groot aantal veranderingen doorgevoerd. Welke dat zijn kan je hieronder lezen:

Ik gebruik dit programma om m'n processor (venice +3000) multiplier automatisch aan te passen, naar gelang de processor belasting. Bij lage belasting is m'n multiplier 4x (proc. 1156mhz) en bij volle belasting 9x (proc. 2601mhz). Ik gebruikte hievoor altijd CrystalCPUID. Maar dit programma bevalt me veel beter.

Haha, ik doe precies hetzelfde met mijn 3000+! Welk voltage draait ie bij jou met de 4x multiplier?

Ontopic: de interface is een stuk beter nu, en de nieuwe systray icoontjes zijn ook erg handig en gelikt. Wat nou zo gaaf is dat je je CPU niet 24/7 op OC snelheid hoeft te draaien, en de snelheid ervan aanpast aan de omstandigheden, of jou opdracht. Je CPU moet dan wel C'n'C of een variant ervan ondersteunen. Geweldig programma!

Op 12x default 1,425V, op 8x op 1,4V en op 5x heb ik 'm op 1,35V gezet. Ik gebruik dus niet de standaard AMD transitions.
De 4x multiplier kan ik vreemd genoeg niet gebruiken, dan slaat de boel muurvast.

Idem hier voor een Venice 3800+. Mijn ervaring is dat het stabieler is dan de Cool&Quiet mogelijkheden die standaard ingebouwd zijn. Vooral als je het voltage gelijk laat en alleen de kloksnelheid laat reguleren is het veel stabieler. Ook is het makkelijk dat je het naar behoefte aan en uit kan zetten met 2 muisklikken. Aanrader.
