SopCast is een p2p-programma dat gespecialiseerd is in het streamen van verschillende media over het internet. Elke node verstuurt de stream verder naar andere nodes waardoor de originele uitzender ontlast wordt van eventuele drukte. De media wordt gestreamd in zogenaamde channels en iedereen kan zonder problemen een eigen channel beginnen. Versie 0.6.0 is sinds kort beschikbaar en helaas ontbreekt de lijst met aanpassingen.
