Met xpy is het mogelijk om een aantal features in Windows 2000, Windows XP en Windows Server 2003 uit te schakelen die eventueel een security threat kunnen vormen. Het betreft hier onder andere RPC/DCOM en LMHash onderdelen die standaard geactiveerd zijn. Daarnaast kan het programma verschillende tweaks toepassen voor Windows. De ontwikkelaar heeft onlangs versie 0.9.1 de deur uitgedaan met de volgende aanpassingen:
