Tyan heeft een nieuw BIOS de deur uitgedaan voor het moederbord met de naam Tomcat i845GV, dat ook bekend staat met typenummer S3098. Het versienummer is aangekomen bij 1.04 en heeft de volgende veranderingen meegekregen:

- Upgraded CPU micro code to support P4 E0 stepping CPU's
- Fixed an issue that would cause the BIOS to lockup while trying to save and exit the bios screen when using P4 E0 stepping CPU's
- Set WOR to [Disable] as the bios default setting
