On Thursday the 16th of February, Tweakers hosted an extraordinary developers conference at the Supernova (Jaarbeurs, Utrecht). We had inspiring international keynote speakers and up and coming local heroes. We have zoomed in on the practices and developments that will determine the future in the field of web development. Given the wide scope of this field, we are working hard to put together a complete and appealing program and address as many major programming languages, practices and toolkits as possible.
Since the start of the digital revolution, an increasing part of the world around us is created by a host of bright minds and intelligent people at the forefront of their profession. The web has been, and will remain, the key accelerator of this trend. No one knows where it will end, but after digitalizing the world, coding the universe doesn’t sound too strange anymore.

Did you miss the Tweakers Developers Summit 2017? Did you missed a keynote or a break-out session? Or would you like to see some presentations again, and again, and again? No panic! Check out the link to all the presentations of the speakers and keynote speakers that were present at the Tweakers Developers Summit 2017.
In the next couple of days we will add new presentations.
During the day, visitors will be inspired by keynotes and breakout sessions. For the keynotes, we are very pleased to welcome renowned, international heroes such as Aral Balkan (Ind.ie) and Rasmus Lerdorf (Etsy Inc.). They will share a mind-blowing keynote speech.
Between the keynotes speeches, visitors can enhance their knowledge by attending breakout sessions. One of those sessions will be hosted by Jeroen Groeneweg & Tim Cure, developers at Tweakers. They’ll share their story about refactoring a legacy codebase and making it future proof. Other talks will be given by Jessica Dunbar (concret5) and Guido Kessels (Spotify). We will confirm more speakers over the next few weeks.
After the daytime in-depth tech talks, it’s time to have some fun during the socials. All drinks are on the house, and geek entertainment will be provided. Expect games, ping-pong tables and more.
