Software-update: PS3 Media Server 1.50.0 Beta 1

Versie 1.50.0 Beta 1 van PS3 Media Server is uitgekomen. Dit programma is een in Java geschreven dlna-compliant UPnP Media Server voor Sony's PlayStation 3. PS3 Media Server is beschikbaar voor Windows, Linux en Mac OS X, en maakt het mogelijk om audio en video naar de PS3 te streamen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

• Speeds displayed in Mb/s instead of Kb/s

• Clarified English language labels
• Updated MPlayer and MEncoder on Windows from Sherpya's old builds to SubJunk's new builds which fixes many playback issues, colour-conversion bugs and more (but possibly has drawbacks for some files, too)
• Main (Status) tab displays a large tick when it's connected to a renderer instead of a PS3 or warning image
• Updated MediaInfo to 0.7.50 from 0.7.47
