AlgemeenMy experience with CameraNU was great (a good website and fast shipping) until I found out that the pictures taken with my newly bought camera + lens were coming out blurry in a specific area.

KlantenserviceWhen I had to deal with their customer service the not so great experience began:
I started the RMA process and they "extensively tested" the lens and found no fault, asked me to test my camera with a different lens (had to bother a friend for this), and finally asked me to send the camera to them (I would expect a photography shop to have some testing gear lying around) so they could finally find the lens was faulty (?!).
I voiced my concerns through email and got no answer whatsoever (they ignored me for two weeks) until I messaged them on facebook. I then got a very quick response but they still don't seem to understand why I’m disappointed with them and frustrated with the whole endeavour.
Anyway, I got in touch with them because the replacement lens didn’t come with a lens hood (and I sent mine back with the faulty lens) and what did they send me? A Sony lens hood like the one that originally came with my lens? Of course not, because that’s not the level of service you can expect from CameraNu: I got a cheap knockoff rubber hood.
I was going to reach out to them but the more I thought about it the less I wanted to. I knew what would happen, the “doubt what the customer says” attitude, me getting very upset again and a dim chance of them doing what’s right. So I gave up.
CameraNU? More like CameraNEVER
