Ik kwam via Voodoo Extreme bij deze thread op het forum van Raven Software, over T&L support in Soldier of Fortune (een spel dat IMO best wel hard gaat regeren):
Q: Will SoF take advantage of the GeForce's T&L engine? "Pretty much all GL applications will take minimum advantage of the Transformation portion of the GeForce card. Next generation engines, like Q3A take more advantage of it, because they are designed for this hardware. Older engines aren't designed for it, so just some of the nartual GL transormations are done.A: SoF does, however, have builtin hardware lighting, so we do take advantage of GeForce's Lighting hardware. Lighting actually looks a little better, as we can throw more lights towards the models, and still render in less time than the software calculations needed to compute the light values (for every other card)."
