Rage of Mages II preview

Hier vind je een Rage of Mages II preview. Ik post hier maar alvast wat stukjes:

It was unassuming. It was from Russian developer Nival (which sounds like a female recording artist but isn't). It was a hybrid strategy-role-playing game. It was surprisingly satisfying. It was Monolith's Rage of Mages. This game emerged only last October, and now, as if by wizardry, we will be seeing its sequel in April of this year. Nival began work on the sequel the minute RoM was finished—actually, as is the case with most sequels, it began development of the sequel during the development of RoM. As a result of testers' and players' comments, and as a result of the general natural evolution of a game, Necromancer was well equipped with at least ideas as early as eighteen months prior to its upcoming release. Said Monolith's Director of Product Acquisitions Dan Bernstein, "The idea is that instead of setting out to make a new engine—the people have concentrated on making RoM a better game.
