Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and ready to shape a new technical service role? At Intralox, one of the world's leading innovators in conveyance solutions, we are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Services group in the Netherlands and help strengthen the life cycle support we provide for conditioning equipment across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Why this role matters

Our installed base in Europe is growing rapidly, particularly within our conditioning platform, which includes spiral towers and cooling solutions. Today, much of the fieldwork is carried out by our Application Engineers. This new position will add dedicated service expertise, improve the support available to customers, and help us build a scalable service offering for this growing market. You will work closely with colleagues including Conditioning Application Engineers and our commercial teams in an environment built on collaboration, initiative, and shared success.

As Field Service Technician, you will spend much of your time at customer sites across the EMEA region. Around 70% of your work will initially focus on conditioning applications and spiral towers, with the remaining 30% supporting other Intralox equipment. This is a new role that you can help shape, with the expectation that it will become fully dedicated to the conditioning platform within two to three years.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

What you'll do:

• Provide on-site life cycle support for conditioning systems and other Intralox equipment, helping customers improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Conduct life cycle assessments and monitor equipment condition to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and recommended next steps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in spiral towers, cooling systems, and other equipment to help customers resolve problems effectively.
• Perform maintenance and repairs where appropriate, supporting safe operation and long-term equipment performance.
• Translate technical observations into clear, practical recommendations that help customers and OEM partners make informed decisions.
• Document findings, actions, and recommendations in service visit reports and our customer relationship management (CRM) system, creating a reliable service history.
• Collaborate with Conditioning Application Engineers and commercial colleagues to provide customers with consistent, aligned service recommendations.
• Help develop the scope, working methods, and service approach for this new position as our conditioning business continues to grow.

What you bring:

• A strong mechanical background and practical technical skills, supported by relevant education or hands-on work experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or servicing mechanical equipment.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
• Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time across the EMEA region, typically for four to five days per trip.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends when customer needs require it.

• Experience with processing equipment, conveyor systems, spiral towers, cooling equipment, or similar industrial installations.
• A self-managed, hands-on approach and the confidence to develop a newly created role.
• A service mindset, clear communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with customers and colleagues.
