Developer (all-round)

You will work on property projects from the initial concept right through to completion. At Reales, the acquisition and identification of new sites is the responsibility of a specialist role, after which you will take over the project and develop it further.

You will be responsible for structuring and developing projects from the initial phase onwards. You will draw up detailed plans, manage the process and ensure that a project develops into a feasible and marketable end product.

In this role, you will have a direct influence on the direction, quality and feasibility of projects. You will not only work on plans, but also ensure that they actually progress towards implementation.

Reales is a risk-bearing developer that takes on positions itself and sees projects through to completion - from acquisition and business case to construction and handover.

We work with a small, close-knit team and have short lines of communication. This means you'll have a great deal of responsibility and be directly involved in the substance and decision-making of projects. We actively focus on business cases, feasibility and lead times, with the aim of actually delivering projects.

Our projects are characterised by their scale and complexity: inner-city regeneration, the transformation of existing sites, and area-wide developments involving multiple interests and stakeholders.

What are you going to do?

As a developer, you will be responsible for taking on and structuring projects from the initiation and design phases through to implementation. You will ensure that projects are sound in terms of content, finance and process, and will actively manage the interplay between these elements. Your duties will include:

• structuring and setting up projects in the initial phase
• drawing up and analysing business cases
• managing architects, consultants and design teams
• focusing on feasibility, costs and optimisation
• coordinate with local authorities and other stakeholders
• preparing and overseeing planning permission applications
• further developing projects into a workable plan
• remain involved throughout the implementation process in order to monitor the guiding principles

You will mainly be working on projects in the initial and planning phases; in addition to our current projects, we also have various major inner-city regeneration schemes in the pipeline.

This is you

You have experience in property development and understand how to set up and take a project forward.

• HBO/WO degree in architecture, property management or a similar subject
• approximately 4-10 years' relevant experience
• experience with the initiative and design phases
• strong at structuring plans and business cases
• a sense of what is achievable and feasible
• independent, analytical and decisive

This role is suitable for both mid-level and senior candidates. The level of responsibility increases as you gain experience.
