Canon heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van zijn foto bewerkingsprogramma Digital Photo Professional. Om dit programma te kunnen installeren moeten de volgende applicaties al op het systeem staan: File Viewer Utility versies 1.1, 1.2 of 1.3, EOS Viewer Utility 1.0 of 1.1, Digital Photo Professional 1.0 of 1.1 én RAW Image Task 1.2. Het changelog laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

- Addition of folder handling functions to the main window Tree View Area.
- Printer profile setting function.
- Resize setting function when images are saved.
- PDF instruction manual linking function.
- Addition of ICC Profile to JPEG images.
- Sharpness setting for TIFF images.
Modified functions. - Multiple-image transfer to retouching software.
- Tone curve in the RAW image adjustment tool palette changed to a log display.
