AOL Instant Messenger 6.9.13.4

Op de site van AOL is een nieuwe versie van de AOL Instant Messenger beschikbaar gemaakt. Het programma is aangekomen bij versie 6.9.13.4 en kan als exe-bestand van deze locatie binnengehaald worden. AOL Instant Messenger stelt je in staat om met andere gebruikers, die in de applicatie 'Buddy's' worden genoemd, te chatten en bestanden uit te wisselen. De beknopte aankondiging ziet er als volgt uit:

Thanks to the magnificent efforts of AIM enthusiasts, beta testers and the AIM Team, AIM 6.9 version 6.9.13.4 has gone GM and is now publicly available at aim.com!

It's been a long road for AIM 6.9 and we appreciate the hard work and dedication from testers. Your feedback is always instrumental in making our products the best they can be. As we've just released AIM 6.9, there is no beta to download and test, but we encourage you to stay tuned for future AIM beta releases.

• Built-in beta update notification setting: This new feature in AIM 6.9 allows you to opt-in to receiving the latest beta release automatically and be notified when it's ready to install. Set this up easily:
  • Edit > Settings
  • Select the Notifications tab
  • Enable "Notify me when new AIM Beta software is available for download"
  • Save your settings update
