Cocoa Packet Analyzer 0.50 bèta

Cocoa Packet Analyzer is in staat om netwerkverkeer op te vangen, te ontleden en te analyseren. Daarnaast kan het overweg met opgeslagen netwerkverkeer in pcap-bestanden. Zoals de naam al laat doorschemeren wordt het programma geschreven in cocoa voor een Mac OS X-omgeving. Jens Francke is druk bezig met het ontwikkelen van Cocoa Packet Analyzer en heeft onlangs bètaversie 0.50 uitgebracht. De bijbehorende lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

Version 0.50:

• MAC-resolution defaults are live updating packet view now.

• IP-Analyzer will display hostname and IP if in DNS-resolve-mode.
