Long review, but I would say it is worth reading. Long story short, Futurum is okay for cheaper products (e.g. bibshorts), but definitely not buy any expensive or electronic products here.

This is my second review after I got contacted by Futurumshop after my first review. This first review was about a home trainer that broke down and damaged my bike, but ultimately about the very poor customer service of Futurumshop (my first review can be found below and dated from November 2nd).

After this first review I have been contacted and actually had a nice conversation. They acknowledged not being empathic and also acknowledge the product should not have been returned by the supplier while still being defect. Therefore, they promised me to contact the supplier, have a look in the returned products for spare parts and offered me €75 in vouchers to compensate for the poor customer service. Problems solved I expected and therefore I also removed my reviews, nothing expecting that would have been the last time I heard from them.

While writing this review, it have been over three weeks. I called at least five times and sent about the same amount of mails over the last weeks. Unfortunately, the employee that should help me is 'not available' every single time. All colleagues I spoke, promised me to share a 'call-back-request' with this colleague. Turned out that was just another useless promise from their side as was the proposed solutions.

Again, I would therefore emphasize not to buy any expensive or electronical products via this website. There are numerous other online shops that offer much better customer service. I used the next metaphor in my previous review, but it is still valid: "Customer service was similar to that of an average webshop".

Ps. Since the last time I wrote a review it was at least noticed. Following up on the proposed solutions would still be highly appreciated.

"Generally speaking, my experiences with this webshop have been okay. I ordered mainly cycling clothes, bars and some maintenance articles. Also bought one more expensive indoor trainer (>€600). Happily used it for about a year, but then unfortunately an accident did happen. My bike came lose from the indoor trainer and both the bike and the indoor trainer were broken.
Customer service was similar to that of an average Chinese webshop and in the end, nothing close to a solution have been found. Also, not at any moment in time I felt taken seriously by the customer service.
Therefore, webshop is definitely decent for all ongoing and cheaper product. But I would definitely reconsider a webshop with a better customer care for the more expensive products."
