Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is overal. Het helpt ons om verschillende resources te beheren en automatisch op te zetten. Het helpt ons tevens om te werken met verschillende cloud providers door een abstractielaag te introduceren waardoor het aanmaken van resources (zoals netwerk, opslag, databases, etc) en hun configuratie (DNS entries, firewall rules, etc) eenvoudiger wordt.
Maar niets is feilloos, ook IaC niet.
In deze sessie gaan we in op de verschillende risico's en kijken we naar IaC management tools zoals Terraform, cloud providers en deployment platformen die gebaseerd zijn op containers en Kubernetes.
Voor elk van de scenario's gaan we in op hun gevaren, tools, integraties en best practices om het risico te verminderen.
