Timo Hoogland is a computational artist, live coder, music technologist and educator from Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. He livecodes experimental electronic dance music using a minimal and human-readable language and environment called Mercury. In his work he explores beat oriented polymetric patterns, spacious synths, decimated basslines and granular sampling through algorithmic composition techniques. |
