Aegon: modern IT technologies in a "conservative" Insurance world
Aegon is maybe not known for its IT, but behind the scenes Aegon has a large IT-backbone using several modern technologies (AWS/Azure, robotics, ML, datalake, CI/CD, Azure Dev-ops, Appian, etc), which run large parts of our business. To give you a sense on how deep and far these technologies are being used, we will have 2 of our Dev-ops team-members show some of their work respectively.
Sushma will talk about how data-science is using the datalake (which is fully built in AWS). Bram (co-host) will talk about the complex world of Model Validation, where all kinds of scenarios are being calculated on their potential impacts.
