Biography
Laure De Mey works as a games programmer at ustwo games (based in London). Before that she was working in Belgium as a mobile app developer, but after working on a few VR/AR Unity projects decided to shift from mobile apps to mobile games programming. In her free time she’s been working on her own game called Discosnakes.

Simplifying workflows in Unity
Unity is a game engine used by many indie gamedevs as well as bigger (mostly mobile) game studios. One of the main benefits of Unity is the ability to extend engine functionality by setting up custom pipelines, creating designer tools and linking external software. Unity can be incredibly powerful, but only if you allow it to be. So why do work that Unity can do for you? In this presentation I will show hands-on examples of how I personally created tools and pipelines to make my life easier and therefore make games faster!
