Biography
Ayelen Chavez is an Engineering Manager currently leading 2 teams in one of the OLX Group's Tech Hubs located in Berlin. OLX Group fuels local economies by making it super easy for anyone to buy or sell almost anything through our platforms. She has a master degree in Computer Science and more than 10 years experience developing solutions for different platforms. Ayelen moved to Germany 3 years ago and spends her free time either working out, travelling or in between her other hundred plus hobbies.

Building fast prototypes for fun and profit
There’s been a lot of effort by companies like Google and Facebook lately regarding cross platform development. Flutter and Kotlin/Native are frameworks that came out of some of those efforts. Flutter is a great tool to make quick PoC and show your ideas to non-technical people. Kotlin/Native cross-compiles to support platforms that don’t support Kotlin natively, like iOS. In this presentation I'm going to tell you the story of how we used these technologies to release an app in 10 days with a team of only 3 and a half mobile engineers.
