Your AVenture® as a Senior Backend Developer

You will devise and develop API endpoints and links to our customers' systems and cloud platforms of the brands we work with (LG, Samsung, BrightSign, among others). You will also work on custom scripts, apps and dashboards. You will design and build systems that ensure that the right content is displayed in shop windows, stores and experiences worldwide. At First Impression you work for great brands such as Rituals, Basic-Fit, Jumbo, KPN and Efteling. We also build tools and apps that allow our technicians and service employees to work quickly and efficiently.

In this role, you will listen carefully to the needs of stakeholders and users to then design functional, secure and stable software. As a true team player, you help colleagues conceive, create and test their code and support them with complex issues. You challenge your team members with your experience in this field. You will have the opportunity to help improve development processes and work on innovations.

You as a person

Most important to us is a high level of enthusiasm, curiosity and passion for code, IT and AV. You love inventing and applying new things. You can work independently, learn quickly and understand development processes, but also dare to ask for help if you get stuck. Working in a team with great colleagues makes you happy.

Your education and experience

You have at least 5 years of experience as a developer, you are proficient in the Dutch language and your skillset includes (part of) the list below:

• Python (Django framework) and (My)SQL
• REST APIs
• CI/CD tooling (GitHub)
• Cloud platforms (AWS)

We also work with tooling/software such as Jira, Grafana, Influx and Node.js.
