The role

As our DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Own, manage, and optimize our infrastructure, deployments, and core integrations.
  • Take the lead in reducing infrastructure-related burdens for our development teams, enabling reliable and efficient delivery of our software.
• Champion security across our environments
  • Maintain a strong security posture, with a focus on secure access, infrastructure hardening, and incident response. Leverage Cloudflare to protect and optimize our public-facing services.
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure incidents
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption to our users, with a focus on rapid response to security and availability incidents.
• Collaborate on deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
  • Work closely with developers to streamline build, test, and deployment processes, and champion infrastructure improvements.
• Drive efficiency, scalability, and security
  • Continuously look for ways to improve our systems, ensuring they are robust, secure, and future-proof.

Who are you?

You are a proactive, solution-oriented DevOps specialist who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys driving positive change. You bring:

• 3+ years' experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong experience with Linux server administration, nginx, and PHP application deployments
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB) and caching solutions (Redis)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Expertise in SSH configuration, key management, and secure remote access
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare for security (e.g., WAF, DDoS protection), performance, and DNS management
• Strong grasp of security best practices: server hardening, secrets management, monitoring, and incident response
• Familiarity with cloud hosting and virtualization (e.g., TransIP, AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Self-starter attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
