What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer.

If Ruby on Rails isnt a train for you, youve come to the right place, because as a Senior Software Engineer at Acture you will contribute to the improvement and further development of our Acture platform:

• Co-develop new features for the Acture platform in the team, both for the backend and the frontend;
• Discuss new features and actively shape the user experience;
• Take architectural decisions with the team and improve the platforms stability, performance, and scaling;
• Test and QA features before deployment;
• Work with our tech stack: Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Capybara, PostgreSQL, JavaScript and Tailwind CSS;
• Fix bugs and maintain an efficient and sustainable codebase.

About Acture

In addition to a personal match.

• Youve worked as a full-stack software engineer for at least 4 years and have in-depth knowledge of (full-stack) Ruby on Rails.
• You have a Bachelor-level working and thinking ability;
• You have a solid knowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL, REST APIs, CSS and HTML.
• You already have a good understanding of working with MVC frameworks and TDD.
• You have knowledge of architectural patterns and system design.
• You strive for clean code and knowledge of how to test thoroughly.
• You have good communication skills and are fluent in English C1 or higher).
