Campus Greenport Venlo | CHILL
Would you like to help build a new domain within the agri-food sector while also contributing to the development of talent in the region?
At Campus Greenport Venlo , you will work on an important mission: strengthening the theme of healthy and sustainable food by connecting businesses, education, and talent. You will play a key role in identifying innovation challenges and translating them into practical projects in which talent development is central.
Who is ?
is the driving force behind innovation in Limburg. It brings together the innovative power of a region with a unique international location, surrounded by major Belgian and German cities with millions of people nearby.
The organisation is supported by four campuses, home to around 400 companies as well as many employees and students. Together with other innovators in the region, they work on solutions to major global challenges in areas such as circularity, sustainable food production, health, and digitalisation.
Campus Greenport Venlo is a leading hub for healthy and sustainable food, future farming, and the bio-circular economy. In this way, the campus makes an important contribution to a more sustainable and future-proof society.
The organisation has an open and approachable culture. Its team of professionals ensures that everyone on campus feels welcome and has the opportunity to reach their full potential. The goal is to continue growing the campus community, creating more valuable partnerships and innovative developments. This growth focuses on knowledge development, value creation, facilities, and the development of talent and community.
Your role
This is not a standard Business Developer role. You will actively help build the foundation of a new programme, bringing together expertise, partners, and talent.
As a Business Developer, you will work on developing a strong and effective ecosystem around healthy and sustainable food. You will focus on identifying relevant challenges within companies and translating them into practical collaborations with educational institutions and talent. You will not do this alone. Together with the programme lead, you will help build and structure this domain, ensuring the right partnerships, processes, and connections are in place to support sustainable growth.
You will start in a development phase on the campus, with the aim of structurally embedding these activities within CHILL , the public-private environment for talent development and practice-based research.
