Where will you end up?

At TOPdesk's office in Kaiserslautern, Delft or Budapest.

As a UX Designer - Design Systems, you'll join a multidisciplinary product enablement team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX Designers. You'll work in an environment that values creativity, user-centric thinking, and teamwork, with colleagues based in the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. You will report to a UX Manager and regularly engage with the Design System team and other stakeholders.

Your job

• Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery
• Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions
• Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders
• Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders
• Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system; propose new components or improvements when needed
• Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs
• Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, and data analysis
• Deliver clear documentation and handover materials for seamless developer implementation
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to shape system decisions
• Contribute to raising design maturity and improving design processes across the organisation
• Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design systems and AI tooling

Your profile

• 5+ years of professional UX design experience
• Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of design systems; not just how they work, but why
• Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation
• Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility
• Confident driving strategic decisions in a product triad
• Strong collaborator with clear communication across Engineers, PMs, and Designers
• Passionate about accessibility, inclusivity, and solving complex system-level challenges
• Proactive mindset; you come with a plan, not just intent
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design system work at meaningful scale
• Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions
