Senior Product Manager
Job description
At Speakap, we build products for the people who don't sit behind a desk. The nurse, the warehouse worker, the store manager - over 600 companies use our platform to keep them connected, informed, and part of something bigger. With 400,000+ users across retail, hospitality, and healthcare, we're redefining how organisations communicate without relying on email or desktops.
We're a small, ambitious team based in Amsterdam IJburg. The office has great views, but honestly, what makes it worth coming in is the people and the work. We care a lot about what we build and how we build it - and we're looking for someone who does too.
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Speakap, you take real ownership. Not ownership in the sense of managing a backlog - but ownership of outcomes. You work closely with customers, engineers, designers, and leadership to shape where the platform goes next and make sure it actually gets there.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, energised by hard problems, and knows the difference between building something right and building the right thing. You'll be working on a product used by hundreds of thousands of frontline workers every day - people who depend on it to do their jobs. That's a responsibility we take seriously, and so should you.
You'll be part of a product organisation that values directness, moves fast, and isn't interested in process for process's sake. You won't have to fight to get things done - but you will be expected to earn trust, make clear decisions, and follow through.
What You'll Do
Own product initiatives end-to-end - from discovery and definition through to delivery and iteration - working closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams.
Talk to customers regularly and turn what you learn into clear, prioritised product decisions that balance user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Define and track the metrics that matter - understanding what success looks like before you build, and being honest about whether you got there.
Collaborate with the Head of Product and leadership to shape the product roadmap and contribute to the strategic direction of the platform.
Work with the engineering team as a true partner - involved early, aligned on trade-offs, and focused on shipping things that actually work.
Communicate clearly and confidently across the organisation - to engineers, to executives, and to customers - adapting your style without losing your point.
What You Bring
8+ years of experience in Product Management, including meaningful time in B2B SaaS environments.
A track record of shipping software that solves real problems and drives measurable business outcomes - not just features that ship on time.
Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methods, and the ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without losing momentum.
A sharp, collaborative mind that can work through hard problems with many constraints and turn them into clear, actionable solutions.
Strong communication skills - clear, concise, and direct - paired with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships across the organisation.
The resilience and drive to push through challenges and deliver outcomes you and the team can be proud of, without defaulting to the easy path or consensus.
BSc in Computer Science, Business, or a related field - or equivalent experience that speaks for itself.
