IT Systems Engineer
Technical depth with ownership
Full-time Duiven MBO-4 / HBO
What will you do?
As an IT Systems Engineer, you are the technical point of contact for complex client issues and a sparring partner for the service desk. You take on 2nd line escalations, dive deep into the technology and deliver structural solutions for incidents that require specialist knowledge.
You also work on client projects: cloud migrations, Intune rollouts, VoIP implementations and security improvements. Sometimes you lead such a project independently, sometimes you collaborate with senior engineers on larger trajectories.
The majority of your work is done remotely, but for project work you regularly visit clients on-site. You are the technical face behind the solutions: clients know that when an incident lands with you, it actually gets resolved.
What makes this role interesting?
You work in a compact team where technical expertise and ownership are central
You get real technical depth: complex issues, root cause analyses and project work
You combine 2nd line support with project work - variety is key
You work with serious infrastructure: own Tier-3 data centre, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Kubernetes
You get the space to grow towards senior engineer or specialist
You build long-term relationships with clients without having to be an account manager
What does success look like?
The service desk can rely on you with confidence for complex technical issues
You know the more complex client environments inside and out
You take on projects independently and deliver them on time and to a high standard
You identify structural issues and initiate improvement trajectories
You help raise the technical level of the whole team

Our environments include Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V virtualisation and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. We continuously invest in professionalisation, security and modern infrastructure.
We do not believe in mass service desks, but in quality, responsibility and lasting client relationships. Our clients rely on their IT environment every day and we ensure it keeps running reliably.
You work from a modern, professional office at an easily accessible location directly on the motorway. A pleasant working environment with modern hardware, good facilities and a professional yet informal atmosphere. We are a compact team with short communication lines. You get a lot of independence, but you are never on your own.
