Introduction

SRH Haarlem University of Applied Sciences, together with EBS Business School and SRH Mobile University, intends to enter the professional educational segment in The Netherlands. The collaboration will combine international excellence with a strong local presence. About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Professional Business Profiler with a large network to accelerate the strategic establishment of (joint) Professional & Executive Education offerings at SRH Haarlem, EBS Business School and SRH Mobile University in the Dutch professional & executive education segment.

The ideal candidate develops a validated, structured Dutch market entry strategy with clear action steps, risk mitigation, and growth opportunities.

Ideally, next to potential individual positioning of the three entities, you design the first mutually tailored program offerings that address the specific needs of key target groups in the Dutch (professional & executive) education market.

This is a pioneering role, it is essential to develop and execute strategies to support the growth and innovation of our educational products and services. You are required to identify new business opportunities, build long-lasting relations with stakeholders and strengthen our position in the market. Above all the Professional Business Profiler is a true connector between education and the Dutch professional & executive educational segment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market analysis
    Identify and analyse trends and opportunities within the Dutch   

    professional & executive education sector, assessing:

  • Analyse market potential: volume, size, and growth projections for the executive education segment
  • Perform competitive benchmarking: analysis of competitors’ product portfolios, pricing strategies, and market positioning
  • Analyse demand drivers: specific needs of Dutch companies for executive education programs and professional training related to EU regulatory compliance or other business needs 
  • The market analysis should lead to an understanding of which segment we should target, including corporate needs, industry-specific requirements, individual executive expectations, etc.

2. Positioning & Planning

  • Analyse the market positioning of the 3 entities individually
  • Develop a strong positioning of the entities in the Dutch professional & executive educational landscape
  • Develop and implement new joint/tailor-made products and strategies for the mutual entities
  • Build brand awareness for all 3 entities in the Dutch professional & executive education market


3. Participant Recruitment & Admissions

  • Generate leads for every entity individually or preferably for a joint venture
  • Nurture all leads

5. Quality assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance and certification requirements impacting program delivery
  • Ensure institutional compliance with Dutch regulations (NRTO), and other external requirements

6. Stakeholder Relations & Representation

  • Identify and engage suitable partners to enhance market penetration and program delivery
  • Build and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders, like industry associations, chambers of commerce, and professional networks to enhance market access and credibility

7. Continuous Improvement & Strategic alignment

  • Report progress and results to the management team of SRH Haarlem
  • Report and update all three entities on a monthly basis about progress and relevant market developments
  • Monitor and respond to developments in professional education policy and labour market demands
  • Ability to reflect on yourself and actively seek feedback from others

Your Profile:

  • Education: A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field; and/or work experience which shows equivalent expertise 
  • Experience: Basic experience in professional and executive education; advanced knowledge of Dutch training and education; knowledge of marketing & communication.
  • Skills: Strong strategic skills, entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills. You have sufficient confidence and ability for decision-making, maintaining openness to change and input of others. Basic Dutch language skills are considered an important asset
  • Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of strategic positioning; a strong existing network of business associations or the ability to build such a network quickly
  • Attributes: Organisation sensitivity, energetic & enthusiastic with an open mindset for change, proactive strategist, strong connecting qualities with internal and external stakeholders, and committed to start an entrepreneurial journey
