Are you ready to drive the future of transport? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Functional Test Engineer to join one of the Netherlands' most iconic truck manufacturers. In this role, you won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be ensuring the safety, reliability, and innovation of heavy-duty vehicles that power the global supply chain.

The Role

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be the bridge between design and reality. You are responsible for the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from initial preparation to the final analysis of vehicle systems. Your insights will directly influence the quality and performance of every truck that leaves the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities

Execution & Analysis: Prepare and conduct rigorous functional tests on vehicles and complex systems based on internal technical requirements.

Data Integrity: Document and evaluate testing results with precision, ensuring all data is actionable for the engineering teams.

Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the testing department and internal clients to align on test setups and timelines.

Standardization: Take the lead in developing and refining corporate test standards and innovative procedures to keep the company at the cutting edge.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the efficiency and quality of our testing methodologies.

Collaborative Innovation: Work within multidisciplinary project teams to solve technical challenges and meet product milestones.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Automotive Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience with functional vehicle testing.
• Have affinity/experience with Embedded Control Systems and CAN bus systems.
• Experienced in the field of test data analysis and statistics.
• Having a truck driving license (license CE) would is a must.
