Geospatial Software Engineer - Deep Learning
About us
We are a unified company formed from the merger of four leading geo-information and data technology companies ( eLEAF, NEO, Sensar and 52impact ). By joining forces, we address societal challenges around climate change, water, agriculture and infrastructure. Our goal is to build a future where advanced data technology seamlessly supports solutions for a thriving planet.
As a trusted partner in our clients' sustainability journey, we create an inclusive and purposeful working environment where our teams are encouraged to work with curiosity, integrity and impact. Together, we build a better world as well as a better company.
We are a growing company driven by innovation and a passion to create a better future. With short lines of communication and a collaborative culture, we scale quickly. We want to be closer to our customers, understand their needs better and respond proactively to what they need. You will help us take that next step!
About the Role
As a member of a team of developers, you will realise projects and build services in which geo-information and Earth Observation data play a central role. We make our unique datasets available via various APIs.
Processing, storing and making this data available presents many technical challenges. For example, do you know the fastest way to process satellite images from around the world? Or can you adapt a state-of-the-art deep learning architecture to estimate the height of trees? How do we get the most out of our data with foundation models or other new deep learning approaches?
Together with the team, you look for creative solutions and the best approach to process this huge amount of data. You will also help build lightning-fast tools that take our production to the next level. You will thus be involved in the entire complex process of turning satellite, aerial photo and point cloud data into a usable end product.
Do you enjoy getting stuck into a complex problem, both independently and as part of a team? Then this is the job for you!
