Project and communication support
We are looking for a project and communications support to join our SURF Vendor Compliance team. Do you thrive in a pivotal role? Would you like to work for a great organization and support colleagues in processes and projects (such as DPIA: Data Protection Impact Assessments)? Do you also enjoy variety and would you like to get to know SURF? Then this is the job for you!
Where you will work
SURF is the ICT cooperative for Dutch educational and research institutions. Together with them, we work on digital services and complex innovation challenges to enhance the quality of education and research.
Working at SURF means working for a unique and open organization. This is evident in everything: the structure of the organization, the setup of the project teams, the culture in our offices, and the atmosphere among colleagues. SURF offers excellent terms of employment and takes a flexible approach to work/life balance. Employees enjoy working independently. In addition, everyone is given the space and freedom to use and develop their talents as effectively and broadly as possible.
Over the past year, the SURF Vendor Compliance (SVC) team has grown into a great team of nine people. The team is characterized by enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism. Enjoyment is an important component, which we also incorporate into team events that we organize at least once every quarter. We encourage personal growth through participation in courses and (international) conferences. These conferences are often also a great opportunity for team building.
What you will do
You are a full member of the project teams, which consist of a project lead/relationship manager, privacy lawyer, security expert, and technical expert. This means you will be working closely with the entire team. The aim of your work is to ensure that services and projects run smoothly.
