We are looking for a developer with four years’ experience to join our team, working closely with our CIO in the Netherlands office  

This is a permanent role 

You will become a key member of our software development team 

You will spend part of your time with the support team so that you learn about our products, our Clients, and the challenges we face daily 

Our Clients are often in direct competition with each other, so all members of our team need to exhibit complete confidentiality at all times 

Most of the time you will be working from home, with visits to the Castricum office as required, to work with the entire development team 

The job offers the opportunity for occasional travel to the United Kingdom, for which a passport is essential 

The programming aspect of this role will include but is not limited to: 

·        Developing new products 

o   Web applications 

o   Mobile applications 

o   Microsoft 365 apps, plugins and SPFx  

o   Scripting 

·        REST API integration enhancements/bug fixes to various CRM, finance, HR, document management and tax systems 

·        Software interface design documentation 

o   Technical documentation 

o   Unit test specifications 

·        Supporting existing systems 

·        Software enhancements/bug fixes of new and existing products 

Good communication skills are a must as you will work with Clients, ranging from business leaders to end users, developers and other IT professionals 

The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time using an agile methodology with ever-changing scopes and deadlines is required 

You will need to:

·        be flexible, patient and pragmatic

·        be able to work independently as well as part of a team

·        be able to interpret rough outlines and design systems, consulting with other developers and designers 

Fluent English is a must

We require good knowledge in a majority of the following: 

Development skills in priority order 

o   Microsoft SQL server 

·        SQL (transact SQL) 

o   Microsoft Visual Studio  

·        Git version control under Azure devops 

o   ASP .Net/ASP .Net Core C# 

·        Experience in back end through to front end is essential 

·        Model View Controller (MVC) 

·        Blazor 

·        MAUI

o   HTML/XML/JSON/CSS/Bootstrap/JavaScript/JQuery 

o   REST APIs with oauth2 authentication 

o   Scripting languages 

PowerShell 

o    Microsoft 365 

Word 

Excel 

A good understanding of, or the ability to learn, new scripting languages is extremely advantageous
