Due to our strong growth, we are looking for a Legal Counsel. Contribute to the further development of our legal department and help shape the strategy in a fast-changing, exciting IT environment. Cegeka offers a challenge that fits perfectly!
- Assist in providing legal advice and guidance to senior executives and other stakeholders, with a strong advisory role.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop corporate policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance across all departments.
- Responsible for reviewing contractual documents, in close cooperation with sales and procurement.
- Maintain contacts with external advisors and follow up on cases.
- Conduct internal training sessions.
- Report to the Legal Manager and be part of the legal team.
What you need to succeed:
- Possess a Master's degree in Law and more than five years of experience as a Legal Counsel. Experience with commercial law, general corporate and regulatory matters, and ICT law. Experience in the ICT sector or in an international context is a strong advantage.
- Already working as a corporate lawyer or have the ambition to become one. Cegeka's no-nonsense, results-oriented approach suits you well.
- Important: able to work autonomously, but also a strong team player who shares knowledge and experience both within and outside the team.
- A keen eye for the continuous improvement of work methods and collaboration.
- Proactive, stress-resistant, and efficient in prioritizing tasks.
- A positive attitude, persuasive power, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with digital tools.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
