Handelsbanken is growing fast so we are continuously looking for new professionals who would like to join us in developing the bank further. For our local IT department, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with broad experiences in Java and React. This is not just any role - it is your chance to make a real impact and be a driving force in the evolution of Handelsbanken. From our buzzing headquarters in Amsterdam Zuid Oost, you will be diving headfirst into full-stack development for our local applications and integrations across the Netherlands. Our ideal candidate would have a proven track-record in the above mentioned technology stacks on both front-end and back-end. Your role:

• You will be the bridge between business needs and IT solutions through collecting requirements and translating (business) demands into a suitable IT solution.
• Your code will be one of the backbones of our systems, so it must be clean, reliable, and secure - and you'll make sure of it with auated tests and code reviews.
• You will bring new features to life and keep our existing solutions running smoothly (incl. technical upgrades).
• üCollaboration is key at Handelsbanken! You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration.
• You will participate actively in daily scrums, refinement, review, and planning sessions, where your input could shape the direction of our projects.
• You will be keen to continuously develop yourself.

Vaardigheden en vereisten

Our offer:

• A salary of minimum €3.809 and a maximum of €6.534 gross per month, based on a 40-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience,
• A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. You can choose to have this paid out per month.
• 30 days holiday per year (based on a 40-hour working week) and the option to buy or sell additional holiday days.
• A non-contributory pension scheme.
• Profit-sharing scheme, mortgage interest discount (under certain conditions) and a non-contributory disability insurance scheme.

Your profile:

• You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here (we do not offer visa sponsorship).
• A Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, and 5+ years of professional experience in software development within a DevOps team. Experience with the banking sector is a big plus.
• Strong hands-on mentality. You enjoy making things work!
• Good learning skills, and open to learn different technologies and business domains.
• Demonstrable back-end experience using Java 17+, preferably with JakartaEE.
• Demonstrable front-end experience using React.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with IT infrastructure on an enterprise level.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills is a must. Dutch would be a plus.
• You are willing to travel abroad (occasionally).
