HR Business Partner - Data Analytics
Would you like to contribute to a data-driven, dynamic, and future-proof organization? SURF is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong profile in Data & Analytics and Strategic Workforce Planning (SPP). In this role, you will combine full-fledged business partnering with organization-wide responsibility for HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Where you will work
SURF is the ICT cooperative for Dutch educational and research institutions. With approximately 850 colleagues, we support researchers and institutions in the fields of data management, high-performance computing (HPC), and digital innovation. As an HR Business Partner with a focus on Data & Analytics, you will make a direct contribution to strategic decisions regarding talent, capacity, and organizational development.

The team you will join
You will be part of the HR team, consisting of an HR manager, HR Business Partners, HR staff, recruiters, and trainees. Together, we work to create a professional, future-proof, and data-driven HR organization. Within the team, you will fulfill a combined role: business partner for your domain and expert in the field of HR data and SPP.
SURF is growing and developing its HR organization into a model with HR Business Partners with their own areas of expertise. This position is new and an expansion of the existing team. This gives you the opportunity not only to serve the business, but also to actively contribute to the structure, working methods, and positioning of your area of expertise within the organization.
What you will do
As an HR Business Partner, you are the strategic sparring partner for the management of a single business unit. You link organizational goals to team and individual development and are an organization-wide driving force in the field of HR analytics and strategic personnel planning. With your data-driven perspective and ability to connect, you contribute to informed decision-making and future-proof teams.

You are an experienced HR professional who combines business partnering with a strong data-driven perspective. With your background as an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisor, you know how to use data to support strategic decisions and guide organizational development. You combine analytical acumen with organizational sensitivity and effortlessly translate insights into concrete, future-proof solutions.
