We are Poki! based scale up (70fte, self-funded) on a mission to create the ultimate online playground: a platform for play where players and game developers come together to play, create and connect. Every day, 10 million players from all over the world visit Poki.com for free and easy access to their favorite games.

Since 2014, Poki has become the #1 web games platform in the world. Our marketing team has played an important role in this journey, and we are now looking for a VP Marketing to help us accelerate our growth during an exciting next phase.

What this job is about:

• You will lead and grow our interdisciplinary in-house marketing team (currently 8 FTE)
• You will become part of our management team, working closely together with our CEO a.i., Head of Product, VP Content and VP Growth
• You will take responsibility for the execution and improvement of our marketing strategy and goals

As our VP Marketing we would like you to focus on the following areas:

Growing our brand

Growing Poki into a household global brand by proving the power of accessible fun Claiming our position as the world's #1 in web games, in collaboration with a PR agency Building direct relationships with our players, game developers and advertisers

Players & playground

Developing a thorough understanding of the most marketable content on our playground and the potential audiences Building a culture of creative excellence, determining where, how and when to best market these games Shaping our playground by working closely with product on player opportunities and problems Leveraging our first party data to further optimise and scale our performance marketing activities via various relevant channels, including direct, organic, paid and socials Increasing our understanding of the life time value per player across devices and countries, aiming for a positive return on investment at scale Navigating the technical and regulatory landscape worldwide

You

• We are looking for an inspiring marketing leader with a feeling for our brand, players and product.
• Have experience with and get excited by the above challenges
• Have 10+ years of experience in marketing, including leadership roles in competitive digital end-user focused environments
• Are a natural leader with a curious, creative and ambitious mindset
• Have a passion for global growth and a feeling for different cultures, audiences and channels
• [Bonus] Have experience with and understand the power of web
• [Bonus] Have experience in gaming or another entertainment industry
• [Bonus] Are based in The Netherlands or willing to relocate
