Word jij de business controller die financiële beheersing én operationeel risicobeheer naar een hoger niveau tilt?

Bij Bakker Barendrecht krijg je de ruimte om impact te maken op de interne financiële beheersing van onze geld- als goederenstroom. Jij bewaakt de P&L en balans, begrijpt waar risico's ontstaan in processen als inkoop, productie, expeditie en facturatie, en versterkt onze interne beheersing door een actieve rol in te nemen om risico's te mitigeren. Tegelijkertijd stuur je drie collega business analisten aan op het domein voorraadbeheer van goederen en statiegeldkratten (fust) en creëer je samen transparantie in de financiële verwerking van operationele transacties. Je bent de brug tussen Financial Control, Business Control én Risk Management. Je verbindt financiële betrouwbaarheid met data-gedreven besluitvorming en zorg dat risico's tijdig worden geïdentificeerd, beoordeeld en gemitigeerd.

Over het team

Je werkt binnen Business Control, een hecht team met specialisten in Commercial en Supply Chain Control, Duurzaamheid en Analisten op o.a. productverlies en voorraadbeheer. Je schakelt dagelijks met Financial Control over periodieke boekingen en reserveringen, met business analisten over voorraadbeheer van goederen en statiegeldkratten, én met afdeling Risk & Resilience over risicobeheersing en het Internal Control Framework (ICF). Zo zorg jij dat cijfers kloppen, risico's tijdig worden gesignaleerd en beheerst, verklaringen scherp zijn en beslissingen sneller kunnen worden genomen.

Wat ga je doen?

Financiële beheersing geld- goederenstroom:

• Risico's herkennen en beheersen: identificeren van risico's in de geld‑goederenbeweging, ontwerpen/verbeteren van controles en uitvoeren van controles en control testing;
• Kernrol in maandafsluiting: bewaken van budgetten, forecast en P&L, afstemmen met Financial Control over periodieke boekingen, reserveringen en juistheid/volledigheid van omzet, kosten en voorraden;
• Aansturen van business analisten: begeleiden en coachen van de business analisten voor voorraadbeheer van goederen en statiegeldkratten; borgen van tellingen, waardering, omloopsnelheid en verlies; realiseren van sluitende aansluitingen over alle voorraadlocaties binnen en buiten Bakker;
• Business partner: adviseren van en stevige dialoog aan kunnen gaan met Commercie, Operations en Inkoop over kansen, risico's en besparingen;
• Continu verbeteren: initiëren van procesverbeteringen en bijdragen aan risicobeheersingsbeleid.
• KPI's & dashboards: ontwikkelen en monitoren van KPI's (voorraadnauwkeurigheid, waste, marge, fuststromen) en visualiseren in Power BI.

Risk Management:

• Regie op ICF: eigenaar van het Internal Control Framework; onderhouden, verbeteren en borgen van controls;
• Ontwikkelen van nieuwe ICF-controls: proactief identificeren van nieuwe risico's, wegen en ontwerpen van nieuwe controls en testplannen;
• Control testing & monitoring: coördineren en samen met controllers uitvoeren van testen op key controls en opvolging van bevindingen;
• Mede organiseren van Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA): Input leveren aan de jaarlijkse risicoanalyse, vertalen van operationele risico's naar beheersmaatregelen en monitoring.

Jouw profiel

• WO in Finance/Bedrijfseconomie; je kunt een balans en P&L lezen en doorgronden.
• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring alsBusiness Controller of in een risk-/control-rol.
• Sterk begrip van de geld‑goederenketenen samenhangende procesrisico's.
• Ervaring met interne beheersing (COSO) en control frameworks is een plus.
• Coachend vermogen richting business analisten.
• Datavaardig: sterk in Excel, ERP en Power BI.
• Analytisch, organisatiesensitief en in staat om een stevig gesprek aan te gaan zonder de verbinding te verliezen

• Een brutosalaris tussen €3.800,00 - €4.900,00 bruto per maand (afhankelijk van ervaring en opleiding);
• Werkweek van 32-40 uur met hybride werken;

Your role as Import & Customs Specialist

As an Import & Customs Specialist, you will play a key role within our Import & Customs team, working closely with colleagues in logistics, procurement, sales and supplier management. You will ensure that the entire process - from supplier shipment to our warehouse in Waddinxveen - runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with Dutch regulations. This is a hands-on role in which you will quickly gain in-depth knowledge of import and customs processes. You will be trained on the job and supported by experienced colleagues, with the opportunity to grow into a fully independent team member managing complex shipments.

What you bring

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree, or at minimum a completed vocational education (MBO level) with equivalent working and thinking capacity.
• Proficiency in MS Office®; experience with SAP and BI tools is a plus.
• Proactive, flexible, and hands-on mindset; able to adapt quickly in a fast- changing digital, product and logistical environment.
• Fluency in Dutch, with excellent English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays if necessary.
• Experience with customs and logistical procedures, or eagerness to learn.
• Team-orientated and internationally minded - not a "9 to 5 "mentality, but someone who thrives in an evolving, cross-border business.
• Strong analytical skills to improve processes and optimise costs.
