What will you do?

• • Work on various projects, including the My Shock Media control panel, advanced internal tooling, and a software package for setting up and managing High Available virtualization clusters (LARAGRID: the software Shock Media uses to set up and manage virtualized infrastructure, www.laragrid.com ). All of this within an API-driven service-based architecture that is continuously being developed further;
  • Work on internal tooling that your colleagues use for many of their daily tasks, so you'll have direct lines of communication with your (technical) end user;

• Develop in various programming languages and environments: primarily in Java and Angular, but also in Python, Rust, and Ansible.

This position offers many opportunities to quickly take on significant responsibilities by owning one or more (sub)projects. Depending on your knowledge and interests, you can focus on back-end, front-end, or both. You'll work on ongoing projects that have a large impact and play a crucial role in the future of Shock Media. In short: plenty of growth opportunities, impact, and lots of room for your own input!
