Lead C++ Developer - Options Trading

Can you build an options trading engine from scratch?

An established proprietary trading firm is opening an office in Amsterdam. They have been successful in various instruments and regions for over two decades and now want to enter the options trading market. You will be the first of many employees to join the Amsterdam entity and will build the foundations for their options trading activities.

As a seasoned Senior C++ Developer, you will spearhead the enhancement and fine-tuning of existing trading software platforms, with a specific focus on options trading integration and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Software Development: Partner closely with risk management and trading teams to ensure comprehensive incorporation of options trading needs into their software infrastructure. This includes contributing to the development of primary trading platforms and ensuring alignment with risk management systems developed in Python and Rust.
• Strategic Technical Guidance: Provide strategic technical recommendations and best practices for software development related to options trading technology. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovation and enhancements in their trading platforms.
• Build & Maintain: Take ownership of system performance, actively addressing post-deployment issues, and troubleshooting any technical challenges. 

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in developing and optimizing software platforms to support the complexities of options trading, including pricing and risk management, through collaborative and technical proficiency.

• Strong skills in C++  and Python
• Serious about code quality, taking full responsibility and accountability for your contributions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you enjoy working together with engineers, risk and trading teams
