As a Senior Business Consultant within the BSS transformation program, you are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into End-to-End (E2E) solution designs. You act as a bridge between the business and the (agile) development teams, ensuring that the solutions meet both the functional and technical requirements of the organization.

Core tasks and responsibilities:

• Collecting and analyzing requirements: Collaborate intensively with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and wishes, and prioritize them.
• Translating into E2E solution designs: Create clear and detailed E2E solution designs, translating functional and non-functional requirements into realizable solutions.
• Stakeholder management: Act as a link between business, IT, architecture, and agile teams. Involve relevant stakeholders to create support and commitment.
• Supporting agile teams: Explain and clarify solution designs and requirements to development teams (scrum teams), and assist with implementation.
• Process optimization: Identify improvement opportunities within processes and systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the BSS environment.
• Documentation: Ensure clear and up-to-date documentation of requirements, solution designs, and decisions.
• Quality assurance: Ensure the consistency and quality of the solution within the larger BSS landscape.

Desired profile:

• Completed higher vocational education (hbo) or university education (wo), preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable field;
• At least 10 years of experience as a business consultant or business analyst in complex corporate environments, preferably in the area of BSS;
• Experience working in the telecom sector is a must;
• Abstraction skills of an architect who can translate the gathered requirements into an IT solution;
• Proven experience in creating end-to-end solution designs and translating business requirements into IT solutions;
• Demonstrable experience in developing Solution Designs that cover the entire chain;
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and working in multidisciplinary teams;
• Excellent communication skills (in English);
• Experience with stakeholder management at various levels (business, IT, management);
• Knowledge of and experience with telecom processes and BSS systems is a plus.

For a freelancer, we can offer an all-in hourly rate of around €85 - €90 per hour. If you are not a freelancer, no problem; we can provide you with a contract through Independent Recruiters. The salary we can offer you for this is around €6000 - €6900 gross per month.
