DevOps Data Engineer - Temporary

As DevOps Data Engineer you will be part of a team that will work on (real-time) operational data on telecom solutions and products. To optimize processes and operations, data quality and dashboarding needs to improve. This team will play a pivotal role in that.

Among your responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and streaming);
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and infrastructure workflows;
• Work with Kafka to build and manage real-time streaming data solutions;
• Write and maintain Python (and Linux) shell scripts for data processing and automation;
• Ensure security, compliance, and data governance standards are followed;
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Functie-eisen

The ideal candidate has:

• A couple of years experience in (DevOps) Data Engineering;
• Strong SQL and Python knowledge;
• Experience with event-driven data (Kafka) and building ETL pipelines and automation;
• Good knowledge on data modelling;
• A proactive, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch not required).

A challenging temporary position in Amsterdam (hybrid working is possible). The rate for self-employed individuals is around €75 per hour. There is also the option of a flexible contract through us; in that case, a nice monthly salary applies.
