Senior Java Developer

Infopro Digital, the B2B group specializing in information and technology, is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its HaynesPro B.V.

HaynesPro is the leading supplier of online technical information to all areas of the automotive aftermarket. We’re growing our Automotive ITData Competence Center, where we work with massive datasets to build powerful (micro)services and intuitive tools that help our product teams create truly data-rich, next-gen automotive solutions.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with talented data scientists and engineers across Europe. Our projects challenge you to combine your analytical sharpness and creative problem-solving: from understanding complex datasets to designing scalable, elegant code that delivers real-world impact.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with our editorial teams to fine-tune your insights and deliver smart, efficient solutions that boost productivity—both for our customers and our internal teams. And you won’t just touch the surface: you’ll be involved from initial concept to delivery and beyond, shaping products that run smoothly and evolve over time.

Tech Stack & Tools

To build our smart data-driven solutions, we rely on best-practice tools and modern technologies. We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in most of the following (or equivalent) tools:

Must-have experience:

• Git-based version control (GitLab, Atlassian Stash)

• Issue tracking & backlog management (Jira)

• Documentation with Confluence

• Java (Java 8 and Java 21)

• Spring Boot framework

Nice-to-have experience:

• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Atlassian Bamboo)

• Docker containerization

• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MS SQL Server)

• Cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

You don’t have to check every box—but you should be eager to learn and grow with us.

About you:

As a Senior Java Developer, you bring both technical depth and team maturity. You take ownership of your work, contribute to team growth, and thrive in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Your experience includes:

• Writing and maintaining clean, scalable code—even in complex systems
• Building and delivering end-to-end projects, aligned with established architecture
• Actively engaging in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
• Mentoring teammates, supporting their growth and encouraging best practices
• Participating in architecture discussions and helping shape long-term solutions

Your background:

• A degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, ideally in a similar senior-level role
