What will you do?
You will be part of our team of Contract Managers. As Contract Manager within operations, based in Amsterdam, you will be responsible for managing multiple customer service contracts across Europe. You will act as a strategic partner to our customers, helping them enhance their competitive position in the dynamic landscape of Warehouse, Parcel, and Airport Baggage Automation.
You will hold profit and loss responsibility for a portfolio of customers and focus on building strong, long-term relationships. Your role involves identifying and developing new opportunities that create mutual value for both Vanderlande and our customers, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you are responsible for the daily back-office administration of service contracts, using a range of digital tools. You manage your assigned contracts with full profit-and-loss responsibility, ensuring they are carefully implemented, analyzed, and optimized. Acting as the customer's representative within the organization, you serve as their voice internally while also supporting them during incidents together with our global service team, investigating issues and identifying root causes.
Beyond operational support, you also take ownership of after-market sales by discussing investment cycles with customers and developing life-cycle plans that fit both their current business and future needs. Part of your role is to monitor external service suppliers, making sure they deliver high-quality services within a cost-effective budget.
You work closely with colleagues across Vanderlande worldwide to guarantee a smooth transition from project delivery to long-term service operations. In addition, you collaborate with the sales team to prepare and create service contracts that align with customer expectations and business goals.
