Short summery

VHE is a fast-growing high-tech company with 200 employees that is broadening its activities and also has international ambitions. For this dynamic environment, we are looking for a Lead project mechanic.

As a Lead project mechanic, you are responsible for the complete assembly and installation of

control cabinets and machine cabling. You will work closely with the project engineer and

project manager and have an important role in realizing high-quality technical solutions. In this

role, you will spend most of your time working on location at our client near Rotterdam.

Your result areas:

Preparation

• You discuss drawings, schematics and project goals with the project engineer.
• You identify missing or unclear information and interact with stakeholders.

Assembly

• You build control cabinets according to technical drawings.
• You carry out mechanical operations on panels and cabinets.
• You assemble and install electrical wiring according to connection diagrams.
• You will install control cabinets and cabling machines on site and in the cleanroom.
• You solve technical problems independently or in consultation.
• You help to commission machines/installations.Je bouwt besturingskasten op volgens technische tekeningen.

Coordination

• You monitor planning, progress and quality of work.

Controle

• You check customer-specific assembly and quality requirements.
• You will fix imperfections after functional and visual tests.
• You provide input for project evaluations and improvements.

General

• You work in accordance with applicable regulations in the field of technology, safety

  and health and safety.

What do we expect?

You are able to work well with other departments in a dynamic environment. You have an MBO-4 education in electrical engineering/mechatronics and have at least 5 years of experience in independently building control cabinets and cabling machines. You have experience with mechanical engineering projects within industrial automation. You are flexible, stress-resistant and accurate and have good communication skills.
