Senior PEGA Developer

We are looking for you as a Senior PEGA Developer at Transavia!

What will you be doing?
In your new role as a Senior PEGA Developer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team, working on the development, optimization, and maintenance of various Pega applications and integrations in the critical pre-departure phase. You will also serve as a key technical partner for the OCC (Operations Control Center), helping us ensure that both our passengers and colleagues enjoy a safe and seamless travel experience.
Beyond your development responsibilities, you will actively participate in the on-call rotation, safeguarding the continuity of our mission-critical applications and resolving incidents outside of regular working hours. You will also advise the Product Owner and other departments on the optimal design of Pega applications, support adoption and usage, and contribute ideas for improvements that help advance our operations and business.
Putting safety first in every line of code and implementation: whether it concerns operational safety at the airport or data security within our systems - you develop according to PEGA's best practices and guardrails, with safety as the top priority;
Ensuring the quality of the applications, solving potential issues , and coordinating with the right stakeholders;
Collaborating and sharing knowledge : you work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into stable, scalable solutions. You help colleagues grow and contribute to a strong technical team;
From idea to implementation: you support the entire development cycle , including workflows, integrations, performance optimization, UI components, and deployment via Pega Deployment Manager;
Always thinking ahead: you are critical of our applications and look to the future to prevent issues before they arise. Your solutions ensure that we remain agile in a demanding and rapidly changing aviation environment. You will also do this as part of the PEGA Center of Excellence, where you are a key contributor.
Being apart of the stand-by process: you ensure that we can rely on our applications 24/7 and take responsibility for incidents and outages.
You advise users and business stakeholders, guide them in making optimal use of the applications, and translate their requirements into smart PEGA solutions .
Where will you land?
You will land within the operational IT domain, P&OC and Operations, where the end customer is at the heart of everything we do.
You will receive:
A gross monthly salary between €4.227,- and €7.289,-, depending on your knowledge and experience, based on a 40-hour work week*;
8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%;
A personal budget of €700 per year to spend on your vitality, such as sports, a bike, or home office equipment;
26 vacation days.
*Salary placement will be based on predefined scales depending on knowledge and experience.

Job requirements
The right bagage

As a Senior PEGA Developer you bring:
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Pega Developer in Pega 8.x or higher and hold a CSSA certification, an Azure certification is a plus;
You have experience in developing and implementing high-quality Pega applications;
You are skilled in integration components such as REST;
You have hands-on experience with Pega Deployment Manager.
You have knowledge of open-source frameworks, web application development, Java and databases (SQL);
You are communicative, results-oriented, and detail-minded.
You are fluent in English, and preferably also in Dutch.
You are open to occasionally acting as an application consultant, helping to bridge the gap between business and IT.
You have experience with Pega Constellation (or are eager to gain it) - experience is considered a strong plus.
You are "agile" in mindset: open and adaptable to change, always looking for ways to improve.
