As a Senior Software Quality Engineer , you'll help ensure the quality of our financial web application: Exact Financials. You'll work closely with developers in a cross-functional product team, combining you expertise in both manual and automated testing to deliver reliable, high-performing software. Exact Financials is used by customers in the Netherlands and Belgium across sectors like healthcare, education and government. Built with Progress OpenEdge and Javascript, it's designed for the higher market segment- and we're counting on you to help us raise the bar even further.

You'll be part of Exact Technology, a diverse and international group of over 400 tech professionals based in Delft and Kuala Lumpur. Within the Exact Financials team, you'll collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners who are passionate about building robust financial solutions. We value knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and having fun while delivering high-quality software.

• Languages & frameworks: Progress OpenEdge, JavaScript
• Databases: Progress OpenEdge, Oracle, SQL Server
• Tools: Azure DevOps, test automation frameworks

This = what you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automated)
• Experience with Windows, web, mobile apps, and API testing
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and test methods
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• A hands-on mindset and a proactive attitude
• Affinity with financial software is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English
• A passion for quality and continuous improvement

If there's a match, you'll first have a phone screening with the recruiter. The second step is an interview with the hiring manager and one of our engineers. The final step is a conversation with our Technology Director. We aim to complete the process within 1-2 weeks.
