AI-Enhanced Risk Assessment Internship

Goal: This internship focuses on enhancing our existing risk assessment services through AI integration. Working within Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity's CyPhy team, you'll help develop innovative approaches to quantify, visualize, and communicate risk in operational technology environments. You'll work directly with a Senior OT Security Consultant as we explore how AI can transform risk analysis in industrial settings.

Location: Amsterdam

Timeframe: February 2026 - July 2026

Team: CyPhy

Supervisor: Bram Blaauwendraad

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current risk assessment methodologies and identify optimization opportunities
• Develop AI models for threat prioritization and impact prediction
• Create visualization tools to communicate complex risk scenarios to stakeholders
• Assist in building scalable approaches for cross-sector risk evaluation
• Participate in client-facing presentations of developed solutions

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Data Science, Cybersecurity or related field
• Understanding of probability concepts and statistical analysis
• Interest in industrial cybersecurity challenges
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Previous experience with AI is preferred but not mandatory
